Dr. Jessica Wodohodsky, DVM, MS, BS is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and owner of JetVet Veterinary Clinic, LLC. Dr. Wodohodsky has attained the highest level of membership to the National Association of Professional Women as a VIP Woman of the Year and has been recognized for outstanding leadership and commitment within her profession.
Before embarking on her veterinary career, Dr. Wodohodsky published an important book on Electrogenerated Chemiluminescence (ECL), later acquired by the military for its usefulness in anthrax detection.
Dr. Wodohodsky and her husband chose Dixon, Missouri as the location for JetVet Veterinary Clinic because of its close proximity to Ft. Leonard Wood and also for its small-town appeal. Dr. Wodohodsky and her pilot husband's dream is to work as a dedicated team providing quick emergency veterinary care to remote areas throughout the state of Missouri. Dr. Wodohodsky's clinic is a fully equipped facility offering wellness exams, vaccinations, surgeries, including spay and neutering, mass removals, and emergency procedures. She also keeps the community educated on the importance of zoonosis, a disease which under natural conditions is communicable from animals to humans.
Understanding the deep bonds clients have with their pets, Dr. Wodohodsky provides micro-chipping identification. She is committed to treating each pet with the same care and concern she would use with her own. She also provides dog and cat boarding, a fully stocked pharmacy, an in-house laboratory and dental services, all at fair and reasonable prices.
