One of America's Oldest Web Design Companies Celebrates 21 Years
Nashville, Tennessee (PRWEB) April 24, 2014 -- Before Google, Ebay and Amazon there was a multimedia company that was advanced enough to prepare for the future of the internet. Nashville web design company, Warehouse Multimedia Inc., started out as a full service business that offered all things multimedia (Video Production, Audio Production, Animation, Print, Graphics Design, Software Development and Marketing) but wanted to stay ahead of the curve by offering web design in 1993. That's right, 1993.
"There wasn't a lot of options in development at the time, but I knew companies needed to get started early on the web," says Anthony Zecco, President of Warehouse Multimedia Inc. "It wasn't til 2006 that I could stop explaining why a company needed a website," laughs Anthony. Warehouse Multimedia kept advancing in internet development through the years, keeping up with the latest in coding and client interaction. They never stopped their other services, but figured ways to implement them in the web early on. Anthony states, "We have had to adapt almost every year. That's why so many web companies close after a couple years, they don't adapt and offer great customer service." WMI mainly did video services for broadcast and training, yet since 2006 almost all of their video work is for the web.
WMI went from simple coding html to advanced e-commerce and web based application sites. Flash sites were a nice (excuse the pun) flash in the pan in the early 2000's, but now responsive website design (a website that changes in appearance with each device that opens it) is the most important direction to go. "With over 65% of the total internet usage on mobile devices it is extremely important to have a responsive website," said Anthony. "You have to make the user experience as pleasant as possible, and a website that doesn't fit and respond well with a mobile device will get you no where."
With their 21'st anniversary at hand, Warehouse Multimedia Inc. now has staff across three states in the country offering quick reliable service to companies all across the spectrum. "Our success has come from diversity and working closely with a client to help achieve their goals without ramming a bunch of technical jargon at them. We help them understand their website and how it needs to work. And then we don't abandon them when the site is launched, we come up with a plan that helps make that site become a producer for that company instead of being an online brochure," states Anthony.
