Financial abuse is spreading rapidly, and NAELA members are committed to protecting these populations who are often the target of scams and fraud. We not only want to help our clients recognize the warning signs, but also help them plan so it can be prevented in the future.

The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) supports National Consumer Protection Week, March 3-9, 2019. This annual event, sponsored by the Federal Trade Commission, is dedicated to helping people understand their consumer rights and make well-informed decisions about money.

NAELA member attorneys are committed to protecting older Americans and people with special needs from fraud, identity theft, and other forms of financial abuse.
