A family owned business since 1955, Easter-Owens is a leading electrical and electronic manufacturing company located in Arvada, CO. According to its website, the company is “Your one stop for engineering and design, fabrication, paint, wiring and assembly, testing and delivery.”
“I started in the industry right after college because our company has been in our family since 1955,” said Ms. Easter. “My dad inspires me.” Now Vice President of Easter-Owens, she expertly oversees the day-to-day operations of the business while also managing and motivating staff. “My key responsibilities include developing and cascading the organization’s strategy / mission statement to all staff and implementing appropriate rewards and recognition and coaching and corrective practices to align personnel with company goals,” she said.
Ms. Easter plans to grow the business by 50% in annual revenue. Managing clients’ goals and expectations while still meeting production deadlines is sometimes challenging, but Ms. Easter uses her expansive industry knowledge and skills in organization, strategic planning, business development and process improvement to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget. “What’s most rewarding is selling the company’s value on quality and troubleshooting complex customer needs and providing a viable solution,” she said. “Everyone wins!”
