New Delhi (PRWEB) September 30, 2013 -- NEC India Pvt. As stated in the report- Frost & Sullivan Indian Enterprise Telephony Market CY 2012, the company has achieved an overall number four position in CY 2012 based on the overall revenue figures, thereby establishing itself as one of the most preferred brands in this segment of India.
In the highly competitive economic landscape where increasing market share proves to be an obstacle, NEC has risen to this challenge by demonstrating excellent execution skills and technological leadership.
According to the Frost and Sullivan report, the Indian enterprise telephony market grew by 8.9% in CY 2012 as compared to 2011, recording revenue of US$ 229 million. Zubair Alam, General Manager of Sales & Marketing, NEC India commented, "The Frost & Sullivan ranking clearly demonstrates NEC’s continued commitment towards strengthening our communication and telephony business in India. With strong presence in verticals like the government, hospitality, healthcare, etc, we have been able to fortify our presence in other segments like transport, energy, power, infrastructure, enterprise, BFSI etc. Although we have been launching new products of Unified Communication solutions with triple play mobility solutions we ensured the upgrading of our KTS platform from mere TDM to IP switching platform. This superior technology offering has enabled us to garner greater market share and attain No. 1 position. As the telephony market is migrating from its current TDM to unified business platform, NEC with its complete solution offering from IP switching KTS to UC solution is well positioned as a holistic solution provider to retain its existing position in KTS segment and improve its strength in other segments as well."
