E&P Well Data, Document and Log Management Solution With Integrated Esri-based Interface
Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 13, 2014 -- Neuralog announces the release of its newest E&P Data and Document Management application, Desktop. Desktop is an Esri-based interface for organizing all E&P well and area level data, logs and documents into meaningful global and project views. Simple to use batch loaders and interactive file association wizards minimize time spent on loading data so users can spend more time analyzing data.
The on-screen Esri-based map display and area tree views enable instant location of wells and any project relevant data. Built-in smart filters allow users to interactively search by file type and/or properties. Users have the option to integrate with their existing Esri investment or start fresh with a new completely custom database based on either SQL or Access.
“So many companies today begin to implement large scale data management projects, but few of them ever come to fruition due to unrealistic expectations and the over complexity of the intended solution. The great thing about Desktop is that it is aimed at the end-users; where the main focus is data access and organization, not enterprise level data management. With Desktop, users can access their data in a matter of minutes instead of months or even years.” - Amy Lauber, Director of Product Development, Neuralog
Through the seamless connection of Esri and Desktop, companies are able to do more than just manage and organize data. Users can convert raster images into vector data, edit vector data, as well as perform interpretations on specific areas of interest. Desktop also has the ability to store working files so any uncompleted projects are quickly re-visited. With Desktop, companies are able to spend more effort accessing and analyzing than managing.
