Lansdowne, VA (PRWEB) December 23, 2014 -- Care Net -- a nonprofit organization that supports one of the largest networks of life-affirming pregnancy centers and runs the only real-time call center providing pregnancy decision coaching -- has launched a new website at care-net.org.
The new website coincides with the introduction of the organization’s expanded vision and mission. While Care Net continues to focus on helping women and men choose life for their unborn children, its renewed approach will also focus on creating new platforms to deliver its life-saving services to anyone facing a pregnancy decision.
The new site, built on Hubspot’s Content Optimization System, is designed to serve a diverse audience of stakeholders. The website will house four blogs, where various audiences can find tools, resources, inspiration, and education to get more deeply involved in Care Net’s work. Blog content will be written by Care Net’s own expert staff and contributed by writers from across the various aspects of the movement.
The technology behind the site will provide customized experiences for visitors so that they can easily access the information that is most relevant to them. For example, if a visitor downloads an ebook on speaking to a pregnant friend, in their next visit, the site will suggest another ebook that would address a similar topic.
Roland C. Warren, Care Net’s president and CEO said, “The new care-net.org reflects Care Net’s commitment to engaging in meaninfgul dialogue with the various audiences that have critical roles to play in our work. This new website will allow us to more effectively pursue our mission of providing compassion, hope, and help through pregnancy centers, organizations, churches, and individuals, who will all find a home at the new care-net.org.”
The site will feature rich content, such as infographics, videos, and shareable images to more deeply engage Care Net’s audiences. For example, a new video series, Abundant Life, has debuted with the launch of the site. The Abundant Life series features women and men sharing how they have dealt with pregnancy decisions in their own lives, ranging from those who had abortions but found hope and healing, to those who chose life despite the most challenging circumstances.
The new site will be supported by Care Net’s renewed social media outreach. Care Net’s Facebook and Twitter pages will become the primary vehicles to carry the website’s dynamic content to the public. This strategy will also facilitate a two-way conversation between Care Net and its diverse stakeholders.
Founded in 1975, Care Net supports one of the largest networks of pregnancy centers in North America and runs the nation’s only real-time call center providing pregnancy decision coaching. Care Net envisions a culture where women and men facing pregnancy decisions are empowered by the gospel of Jesus Christ to choose life for their unborn children and abundant life for their families. Acknowledging that every human life begins at conception and is worthy of protection, Care Net offers compassion, hope, and help to anyone considering abortion by presenting them with realistic alternatives and Christ-centered support through its life-affirming network of pregnancy centers, organizations, and individuals.
