Grand Strand New Home Renaissance Led in Part by H&H Homes
Fayetteville, NC (PRWEB) April 15, 2014 -- H&H Homes, a premiere builder of single family new construction homes, formally announced today that they have new homes and lots available in the North Myrtle Beach and other areas along the Grand Strand in South Carolina.
Cited in an article from Myrtle Beach Online, Kerry Avant, H&H executive vice president of business development, said that H&H began acquiring land in Horry County in June and now has bought or has options on more than 400 lots in five subdivisions, where their homes will range in price from the $200,000s to more than $400,000.
With an array of prime location choices for homebuyers, H&H is currently offering new homes in Palmetto Greens, Pelican Bay, Shaftesbury Estates, Shaftesbury Glenn, and Shaftesbury Green.
Berkeley White, past president of the Horry Georgetown Home Builders Association stated in the article that the rise in spec home construction among regional and national builders buttresses the fact that Grand Strand real estate is a very healthy market now.
“We’re seeing a lot of interest from first-time and move-up homebuyers in South Carolina,” said Avant. “We’ll also be developing a new plan for smaller, single-story homes to serve the Strand’s retirement market, and the company’s multifamily division is building apartments for student housing on S.C. 544 across from Coastal Carolina University,” he added.
H&H Homes in investing in South Carolina and the Grand Strand and has very good relationships with its lenders, Avant pointed out. The company’s strategy in other markets has been to build a number of spec homes for move-in ready buyers, and they plan to continue this strategy in Myrtle Beach.
As more buyers purchase a new home from H&H, the spec homes they are building now in Horry County will be reduced in number. H&H does say that at least some spec home construction will be ongoing to replace those homes that are being purchased.
“We’ll be happy if we sell 60 homes in Horry County this year and we’re looking to increase that to 100 in 2015. Myrtle Beach is getting to be one of the hottest housing markets in the Carolinas,” he added.
