New York Client Solutions Participates in Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013

Manhattan-based outsourcing firm New York Client Solutions hosted a free entrepreneur networking event as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013 – the nation’s largest entrepreneurship-focused campaign.

We had such a great time meeting with ambitious individuals who are looking to make long-lasting business relationships.

This global event ran from 18-24 November, encouraging current and aspiring entrepreneurs to take a step forward in their plans – whether that’s starting a business, seizing a new opportunity or finding out more about careers in enterprise.

New York Client Solutions is a relatively new company who have experienced a lot of success throughout 2013. MD Colin Moore wanted to take part in GEW2013 to offer advice and guidance for others considering self-employment or starting business. This year the Global Entrepreneurship Week campaign aimed to reach thousands through offering local and practical events that can inspire and educate people about what support is available to entrepreneurs in New York City and across the USA.

Many universities across America also got involved with the hope of creating awareness of entrepreneurship. The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and The University of California, Davis campuses hosted kickoff events to celebrate the many different efforts related to entrepreneurship and innovation available to students. Middle Tennessee State University started off the week with their 'Resources for Entrepreneurs' event with a Q&A panel featuring Dr. Pat Geho, State Executive Director, MTSU-TSBDC, Dr. Jim Stefansic, Launch TN and more. The University of South Carolina's Global Entrepreneurship Week Launch Event featured a keynote speech from Katie Peterson, the Director for Innovation and Networks with the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation. The University of Kentucky's Lexington Innovation and Commercialization Center held its kickoff event for students and the Lexington entrepreneurial community with featured guest speakers including, Mayor Jim Gray; U.S. Congressman, Andy Barr (KY-6) and more.
