New Book Explores the Question of ‘A Glass Half Empty? ...or Half Full?’
LONG BEACH, Calif. (PRWEB) December 21, 2018 -- The question of pessimism versus optimism is often misunderstood, or worse yet, misinterpreted, according to author Dan Schuck. In the second printing of his first published book, “A Glass Half Empty? ...or Half Full? A Children’s Book for Grown Ups” (published by Archway Publishing), readers can explore the title question about one’s outlook on life and learn lessons about how different factors affect it. The book is available for purchase at: https://www.amazon.com/Glass-Half-Empty-Full-Childrens/dp/1543930301.
By taking a childlike and playful approach, “A Glass Half Empty? ...or Half Full?” investigates some of the deeper lessons that the question can teach everyone. The illustrated book contains a line-art design of a live goldfish in a glass, symbolizing the glass as the vessel of life itself — a person’s entire cosmology. Each page gives examples of ways a glass can be filled or emptied. Ultimately, the book makes a point about discovering ways to find balance.
“Finding Balance in our lives (and in our Glass) requires the ability to see the Glass from multiple Perspectives,” Schuck says, adding that he hopes his book helps readers gain the “desire to Practice Perspective in their Balanced Lives. I’d like people to want to share this message with others (and share my book as a gift!)”
