NEW YORK, July 16, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- As a 14-year-old boy sleeps in his school dormitory, an old man dressed in a loincloth sneaks in, makes some small cuts on the boy's skin, and disappears. When the child wakes up, he finds he has been changed to an old man.
This mysterious novel was inspired by incidents from the author's boyhood in Nigeria. Rolic Oboh says, "In the first year I attended secondary school, there were several incidents of students waking up in the dormitories to find mysterious minor cuts, usually on their limbs, back, and faces. Although students would discuss these occurrences, no conclusion could be made, and the matter led to so many unanswered questions."
Although the changed boy is watched over by three policemen, he eludes them and meets up with a friend, who tells him about the old man who caused his transformation. The two head toward the forest, where the old man was last seen, and try to solve the puzzle to get the boy's youth returned. Will he ever get his childhood back?
