Author Tony Caldwell says a post-COVID-19 world offers unique opportunities for new insurance agency start-ups.

Tony Caldwell, CEO and founder of One Agents Alliance (OAA), has authored a new book titled The UnCaptive Agent, a guide for independent agents looking to start and operate their own independent insurance agencies. The book, which achieved “#1 New Release” status on Amazon, provides step-by-step guidance regarding the skills and mindset needed to run an agency, sharing practical tips and tools for those looking to build a new business or grow their current one.

Caldwell has partnered with more than 250 entrepreneurs over the last two decades to create local independent insurance agencies that now produce in excess of $500 million in premium annually. In his book, he shares critical insights into his success in launching and operating new insurance agencies, insights he says can be applied to many types of new business start-ups.

Caldwell is a former Oklahoma state legislator who launched his insurance agency after an unsuccessful bid for the U.S. Senate 25 years ago. What he considered his life’s biggest failure was the catalyst to build a successful business, as well as helping others achieve their financial and personal dreams.
