About the Author
Maria SantaLucia moved to Homer, Alaska in 1983. As a young adult, she worked in the fishing industry for two years before getting married and raising her four sons. Her family has had the life of an Alaskan fishing family and they all have their own fishing boats. She has owned Majestic View Bed and Breakfast since 1997. SantaLucia wishes to be known as a long-time Alaskan hostess whose home embodies the lost art of kindness as well as Alaskan hospitality and cuisine that are enjoyed and remembered by all who come to visit as they turn from guests into friends. Together with her husband Tim, she shares her vast knowledge and experience of Alaska in general, but specifically, what to do and see in the Homer area.
