New Labor Day Survey to be Released Wednesday: What Worries White, Blue and Grey Collar Workers?
Express Employment Professionals will release a new national survey of America's white collar and grey collar workers--the emerging group of professionals that fall between the standard white collar and blue collar definitions.
OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla., Aug. 26, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- On Wednesday, Express Employment Professionals will release a new national survey of America's white collar and grey collar workers—the emerging group of professionals that fall between the standard white collar and blue collar definitions. This survey follows the widely covered 2018 poll from Express of America's blue collar workers and allows for a side-by-side comparison of the three segments of the American workforce.
The survey, conducted by Harris Poll, reveals the shared concerns of America's workers—particularly high levels of debt and low levels of savings. White collar workers share their views on whether college was "worth it" in an era of evolving workplace demands, and all groups evaluate their divergent working conditions. The survey also explores the groups' expectations for jobs of the future and whether it is time to retire "collar" labels for workers altogether.
The survey examines groups' outlooks for the direction of the country, their states, their communities and their personal lives. Respondents also revealed which party they believe does a better job helping people in their line of work.
If you would like to obtain an advance copy of the survey results or arrange an interview with Express CEO Bill Stoller to discuss this topic, please contact Sheena Karami, Director of Corporate Communications and PR, at (405) 717-5966.
