New Novel Charts One Woman’s Struggles With Relationships in Her Family Life, Romantic Life and Business Life
CALEDON, Ontario (PRWEB) May 06, 2019 -- Mark Grice has had an adventurous life filled with rich experiences as a professional horseman and an artist. He wanted to use his expertise in the horse business and the art business to create a story that connected both interests, and give the reader an authentic perspective. This prompted him to pen “Paint the Horse Blue” (published by Archway Publishing).
The book follows the life of Kella Major, a single mother and a horse trainer in central Ontario, who finds herself in a desperate situation due to tragic circumstances. Faced with a threat of losing her horse farm, readers get to follow her on a mission to solve her problem which takes everyone on a journey spanning across 10 states, one province and a hundred years.
Horse lovers and people who enjoy the small town, rural lifestyle are hoped to find “Paint the Horse Blue” a delightful read. From horse show arenas to hockey arenas, Grice provides a textured story featuring a cast of characters expressing raw emotion, humor and hope. Additionally, readers will find four cowboy poems within the pages and get to see a glimpse of the world of historic western art.
“I want the readers to enjoy my laid back writing style and have the feel that I am telling them a compelling story in person. I want the readers to find it hard to put the book down when many chapters end with another twist and more questions than answers. Tensions rise in the book but are interspersed with enough gentle humor to keep the reader relaxed and engaged,” the author concludes.
