New Philosophical Collection Contemplates Numerous Concepts of Freedom
Author Sehdev Kumar announces publication of '7,000 Million Degrees of Freedom'
MISSISSAUGA, Canada, Aug. 6, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Sehdev Kumar's new book, "7,000 Million Degrees of Freedom: One Earth, Seven Billion Worlds" (published by iUniverse), is a collection of personal meditations on the idea of freedom in all its varied multitudes. Kumar has spent time intrigued by the idea of freedom and the many manifestations it envelopes; his newest book is an attempt to analyze and understand freedom and the manifestations.
With over 7 billion people on this earth, Kumar asks the questions: what could freedom possibly mean for us as earthlings and dreaming creatures always asking about the meaning and purpose of our lives, yearning to cut the rope and be free; why do people die, kill, struggle or torment themselves or others, in the name of freedom; what all does freedom entail; and why is it such an integral part of our being? The philosophical commentary of "7,000 Million Degrees of Freedom" explores the idea of freedom and how to think about freedom on an ever-changing and ever-growing planet.
Kumar states, "Freedom is at the heart and soul of what it means to be human. This book is about freedom as a many-splendored idea that has shaped human history for millennia." "7,000 Million Degrees of Freedom" addresses everyday concerns about freedom that are applicable to any part of the world.
