According to U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) data, the number of sexual harassment lawsuits filed with the agency has increased more than 50 percent in 2018 compared to 2017. The EEOC has recovered nearly $70 million through litigation and administrative enforcement of sexual harassment issues in 2018, up from $47.5 million the year before.
