Activcore, LLC, the industry leader in suspension-based medical and fitness services, has opened a 100-square-foot mini-clinic on the gym floor of the newly-opened, state-of-the-art, 82,000-square-foot Windsor Athletic Club just outside Princeton in West Windsor, N.J.

Activcore delivers fully integrated concierge-level continuum-health services, delivered by specially-trained medical and fitness professionals. This continuum of care includes rehabilitation, medical fitness for post-rehabilitation populations, and sports performance for elite athletes. Complimentary 15-minute injury screens are available for Windsor Athletic Club members as well as the general Mercer County community.

"Activcore adds a unique dimension of sports rehabilitation and medical fitness to our club," says Matt Wilson, president and owner of Windsor Athletic Club. "It's a real benefit for our members, who come to us for comprehensive service and value, and that value includes restoring health, fitness, and attaining maximum pain-free performance. Innovative treatment backed by science and delivered by professional therapists. That's what Activcore brings to the table."

Using the Redcord technology, which is a sophisticated system of ropes and slings, Activcore addresses chronic pain and loss of muscular control that can occur after injury or prolonged inactivity. The Neurac Method (short for Neuromuscular Activation) focuses on neuromuscular re-education to activate, normalize, and strengthen muscle interaction and to restore functional, pain-free movement patterns. This innovative method uses the patient's body weight as resistance in a series of specially tailored exercises and techniques. This groundbreaking approach essentially teaches your body to utilize muscle groups that have been effectively "turned off" by pain pathways in the brain, and fully restores pain-free range of motion and optimal performance.

To schedule a complimentary 15-minute injury screen at the Windsor Athletic Club or at any Activcore location, please call 800-455-8982 or send an e-mail to contact(at)activcore(dot)com.
