Protocol Networks Completes Year-Long Office Relocation for Sarepta Therapeutics
Cambridge, MA (PRWEB) April 23, 2014 -- Protocol Networks, a Rhode Island based Business Consulting practice who utilize technology as a tool to help companies undergoing growth and transition, has just completed a very successful, year-long data center relocation and office consolidation project for Sarepta Therapeutics (http://www.sarepta.com), an independent biotechnology company.
The scope of the project included building a new Headquarters in Cambridge, Mass and consolidating three functioning offices into the Headquarters, while simultaneously relocating the Sarepta Therapeutics’ data center from Colorado to Massachusetts. Protocol Networks designed and installed the new telecommunications and computer networking infrastructure at the new data center as well as the new Headquarters location; a complex task for a biotechnology firm that relies extensively on its computing assets. Protocol Networks’ engineering and project management teams led the build-out of the new Headquarters and the data center and was able to complete the highly visible project well within the established deadlines.
“Protocol Networks combination of business and technology skills allow us to service companies that are growing, shrinking or transforming and need to work with a firm who specialize in transition without simply looking for products that are magic pills. We utilize our experience, and allow companies to lean on individuals who have done things that few technology executives have done during their careers.” Chief Information Office, Philip Rogers.
“Protocol Networks was an indispensable part of the office consolidation process,” said Stephen Aschettino, Director, and Information Technology & Facilities for Sarepta Therapeutics. “These moves would not have been a success without them.”
The Protocol Networks team was able to manage the overall design and infrastructure installation of this complicated office build-out and relocation. The firm’s services include network infrastructure installation and maintenance, wireless networking, systems design, systems security, virtualization, data storage and backup, disaster recover, and voice-over-IP telecommunications. Protocol Networks also offers comprehensive support and maintenance as well as 24/7 service to its clients.
