Inc. Magazine Names NewFoundry to the 2017 Inc. 5000 List of the Fastest-growing Private Companies in America
Ann Arbor, Michigan (PRWEB) August 16, 2017 -- NewFoundry today announced that it has been ranked in the top third of the 2017 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America, coming in at number 1347.
The honor comes as NewFoundry prepares to celebrate five years of fusing strategy, design, engineering, and user experience expertise to create next-generation market opportunities, products, and services. The firm conceptualizes, designs, and engineers custom handheld and tablet mobile applications, cloud-based platforms, web applications, automotive interfaces, and branded digital business tools. Notable NewFoundry clients include Club Car/Ingersoll Rand, Renesas Electronics Corporation, ROUSH Performance, Sea Ray/Brunswick, and the University of Michigan.
The Inc. 5000 nod is the latest in a series of honors bestowed on the firm since its founding in 2012. Michigan Celebrates Small Business named NewFoundry one of “50 Companies to Watch” in 2015. In 2016, NewFoundry was awarded The Best of MichBusiness in the “Technology Gurus” category. And earlier this year, NewFoundry CEO Richard Chang was selected for the prestigious Goldman Sachs "10,000 Small Businesses" program, which invests in a select group of 10,000 entrepreneurs over the lifetime of the program by providing access to education, capital, and business support services.
"We're tremendously honored to have joined the ranks of the Inc. 5000 list," said Chang. "When we reflect on the fact that some of the most successful companies in the world have been on this list, it's quite humbling. It would have been impossible to reach this point without the dedication of many important people – the hard work of our team, the partnership and trust of our clients, and the inspiration and mentorship from organizations that have recognized and supported us over the years."
Inc. Magazine President and Editor-in-Chief Eric Schurenberg congratulated NewFoundry in his notification letter, stating "this achievement puts you in rarefied company. The elite group you've now joined has, over the years, included companies such as Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, Intuit, Chobani, Oracle, and Zappos.com."
Looking ahead to the next five years, NewFoundry's strategy is to continue its trajectory of growth by doing what it has always done best – deliver ground-breaking solutions that are often different than what the client first imagined, but always more than they expected.
