“Swathe in a delightful employment environment” may be the expression for jobseekers, in EmploymentCrossing’s view. A pleasant zephyr of optimism in the employment sector in the US has uplifted the spirits of the entire jobs market. As per Manpower Group’s survey, more than 18000 interviews have already taken place in all 50 states of the US. The leverage has perhaps been the mood of the market that is with positive intents of hiring candidates for numerous positions. And the employers are hoping to capitalize it to the fullest.
Supposedly, in the past, according to countless reports, the scene wasn’t as benign; on the contrary, quite a few issues and stumbling blocks plagued the market, posing recruitment and jobs search conundrums before recruiters and jobseekers at large. The cloudy times seem to have dispersed for good, and this latest report on the recruitment disposition of the market in the third quarter of 2013, based on a survey by Manpower Group, confirms it.
The comparisons on Manpower Group’s website reveal that the stance of various industry sectors is immensely positive. In the context, various industry sectors deem that the recruitment milieu is anticipated to be a hunky-dory gait.
Interestingly, the survey report signifies that Education & Health Services is expected to witness 8% growth, whereas the augmentation in Leisure & Hospitality may be up to 30%; in Financial Activities, the rate of increase may be up to 15%, and in Non Durable Goods Manufacturing - it is 14%. Furthermore, Information sector expects an upside of 12% and Other Services - 10%; Professional Business Services growth position is expected to be up by 18%, and Government, Transportation & Utilities and Construction sectors expect to witness up to 9%, 17% and 18% respectively. Not just that; in Wholesale & Retail Trade, the growth may be up to 20%, whereas in Mining and Durable Goods Manufacturing sectors, the estimated rise in recruitment could be up to 18% and 13% respectively.
To add to the delight, seasonally adjusted net employment in Midwest is expected to be up by 12% and in the Northeast, it is 9%; the South anticipates a manpower increase of 12% and in the West - 13%, as per the survey.
EmploymentCrossing attributes this expected growth to the changing phase of the recruitment scene, and they said that this, for sure, will impel the economy still further in the years to come. In their opinion - the zest among jobseekers is evident and recruiters have been soaking in the euphoria of the most awaited manpower growth in their firms. They added saying that the employment landscape will be recruiter friendly, and jobseekers will find jobs of their choice, in spite of the fierce competition in the fray.
