"Age of Wind 3” was featured on NewsWatch as part of its monthly AppWatch, which takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications on the iOS, Android, and Windows market. Andrew Tropeano, a host of NewsWatch AppWatch and mobile technology expert, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how it’s the latest edition to the Age of Wind pirate franchise.
In Age of Wind 3, players are a pirate in search of fame and treasure. To win all, they must build a fleet and sail the seven seas, pillaging, trading, and challenging friends and other players to win gold coins.
There are over 40 ports on different tropical islands where players can trade exotic goods to build unique and devastating weapons for their fleet of ships. The entire Caribbean is spread out across a three dimensional map that players can sail through to find their next victim.
There are 10 quests users can play with approximately 20 missions each, equaling nearly 200 adventures. Players can stop and rest in a tavern and drink rum or play dice against a local.
