BiGuud is a great tool for limiting how much your child uses their phone or tablet!
Barcelona, Spain (PRWEB) June 04, 2014
"BiGuud”, a new mobile application, was featured on NewsWatch as part of its 2014 Mobile World Congress Wrap Up that took a look at the coolest and most exciting exhibitors of the show. Andrew Tropeano, a host of the show and technology expert, conducted the review and shared with viewers how it gives parents the tools to limit their child's phone and tablet usage.
A recent study by JAMA Pediatrics found that parents who set limits on how much their children use phones and tablets see an increase in sleep quality, higher grades, lower aggressive behavior, and a lower risk of obesity. Unfortunately, managing to pry a phone out of a child’s hands isn’t an easy task.
BiGuud, a mobile application from the Spanish Pavilion at Mobile World Congress, lets parents lock a phone and disable its functions. While locked, the child can still make calls to predetermined numbers and emergency contacts.
The app can work across 9 different devices ad has a localization factor as well, so parents can see where their kids are at any given moment. It’s all managed through a website, so parents don’t have to deal with each phone, one at a time.
Biguud is a great app for parents that are trying to manage their child’s screen time. It’s available for approximately 3 euros a month or 19 euros a year.
