(PRWEB) July 18, 2013 -- “CallSnap” was featured on NewsWatch as part of its popular segment, AppWatch, that takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications and mobile services on the market. Andrew Tropeano, host of AppWatch, shared with viewers how the app allows users to instantly share with callers what they’re doing when they can't answer the phone.
CallSnap is a free app for android devices that removes the awkwardness of a hushed conversation or an ignored phone call. CallSnap is easy and fun to use – after downloading it, users will notice a new icon on their answer screen when the phone rings. When the phone rings and they can’t answer, the icon will appear, allowing the user to slide it to the side. This motion opens up a camera interface, where the user can take a pic and it sends automatically with a text message showing why they can’t talk at that moment.
If they’re at a baseball game and a friend calls when the bases are loaded. Answering the phone would be a distraction, so a quick photo with callsnap tells the friend they’re at the game. CallSnap is not meant for every situation, but for the times when it is appropriate, the app is great.
