“Creature Chaos”, a fun mobile gaming application was featured on NewsWatch as part of its popular segment, AppWatch, that takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications and services on the iOS, Android, and Windows market. Andrew Tropeano, the host of AppWatch, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how the game lets users create, evolve, and battle creatures in a classic RPG game format.
Role Player Games have been popular since the 70’s when Dungeons and Dragons was first introduced. Since then, game franchises like Final Fantasy and Pokemon have taken the reigns. Now games are seeing tons of great RPG games available on mobile devices. Creature Chaos, a game available for iPhones, took all the best attributes from other RPG games, like battling, capturing, and evolving creatures.
The basic premise of the game is simple, gamers start with a creature, then work their way through worlds battling other creatures in traditional turn based matches. When a match is won, the gamer can capture that creature and add it to their collection. There’s around 100 different creatures and counting gamers can snag. As they battle, they get points which can be used to level up a creature. How a player levels up a create, adding strength, speed, or defense, determines how the creatures evolve.
In addition, Creature Chaos has high quality art that puts it in a class alone in comparison to other RPG games in the app store.
