“FusionCalc2”, a calculator application was featured on NewsWatch as part of its popular segment, AppWatch, that takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications and services on the iOS, Android, and Windows market. Andrew Tropeano, host of AppWatch, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how the app lets users throw away their old calculators and use a touch-screen version instead.
Nearly everyone owns a calculators for work or at home. They’re there because people love the sound they make and the idea of them, but are they really worth the space? NewsWatch went on a mission to find the most unique and interesting calculator out there, and unsurprisingly it’s an app.
FusionCalc2 is a straightforward calculator that takes the stress out of remembering or writing down numbers. Instead, users can take those numbers from a grocery list or anywhere else and plug them into the app. As they’re inputted, users can give them a name, for example “eggs” or “rent”, then drag and drop them into the calculator for use when necessary.
FusionCalc2 has all the main functions of a calculator, but with the added capabilities of a touch screen smartphone or tablet. Andrew Tropeano, host of AppWatch, gave it a try a few weeks ago and mentioned in his review that he hasn’t used the preinstalled calculator or a non-app calculator since.
The app is currently free for iOS devices and they’ll be coming out with a pro version soon. To learn more about FusionCalc2 or to download it and get rid of clunky calculators, head to http://www.fusioncalc.com.
