“PrintHand” was featured on NewsWatch as part of its popular segment, AppWatch, that takes a look at the latest and coolest mobile applications and mobile services on the market. Andrew Tropeano, host of AppWatch, conducted the app review and shared with viewers how it can allow users to print directly from their mobile device.
Created by Dynamix Software, PrintHand is a free app that allows users to easily connect via wifi or bluetooth to a printer and easily print anything that’s on their smartphone or tablet, including office documents like word, excel, and powerpoint, as well as emails and contacts. PrintHand works with any modern printer, but also can connect easily with old printers that only connect through hard wire. To connect to old printers, users must only connect wirelessly to the computer and access the printer.
The app is free to download but if users want to print documents, they will need to pay for the full version. PrintHand was originally designed for android users, but it’s now available for the iPhone, with a Windows and Blackberry app coming soon.
