Matt Bacak’s Profit Coalition “Marketer of the Year” Award Goes To Nick James

After a hotly contested race, Nick James has emerged as the 2016 Profit Coalition Marketer of the Year. The title was granted at the Last Hurrah, which was held by Matt Bacak, the leader of the Profit Coalition Mastermind Group.

How does one of Internet Marketing’s biggest success stories close out the end of one era and start a new one? By taking the spotlight off himself and putting it on someone else in his industry. Matt Bacak's recent Last Hurrah celebration at the TPC Sugarloaf Country Club served as the venue for the unveiling of the 2016 Marketer of the Year.

And the honor went to Nick James.

Known as The Internet Coach, Nick James of Reading, England, is an internationally acclaimed internet marketing guru, business coach and motivational speaker. He serves as Managing Director of Motivated Results Ltd. His insider knowledge perks up the ears of entrepreneurs far and wide, whenever and wherever he shares it. When it comes to creating and developing an Internet business, James is an unparalleled resource in making those things happen.

VIP members of Matt Bacak's The Profit Coalition are clearly in agreement with that assessment. The competition began with Bacak sending out a voting ballot to those members with the instruction of voting for three people. The top three to emerge from the initial round of voting included Nick James along with Sam England and David Asarnow. England of Dunn, NC does double duty as an entrepreneur and internet marketer. Meanwhile, Asarnow is the CEO and founder of Business Nitrogen in Atlanta, GA, which focuses on accelerating business results.

With a trio of names like that, it’s not surprising that the decision of titleholder proved a difficult one. That’s why Bacak chose to leave it to 120 of the world’s greatest marketers, who just happened to be convening together for his Last Hurrah party.

The final round of competition entailed a 20-minute presentation by each contender. A ballot was then passed around to party-goers. Votes were counted and double counted, with the results being kept secret to even the host himself. “I had no idea who had won until presenting the trophy,” Bacak explains.

Ultimately, Nick James emerged victorious but Bacak believes all three candidates were truly worthy of the distinction. “I won the title back in 2010 and it catapulted my career in all kinds of great directions,” Bacak notes. “I hope the recognition does the same thing for Nick.”

While he waits to see such fruits unfurl for the winner, Bacak is busy settling into his new home in Peachtree City, GA. The awarding of the Marketer of the Year title was the final event his Profit Coalition will hold in Duluth, but will continue to flourish in Peachtree City.
