US Sports Camps Announces New Swim Director for the 2017 Nike Swim Camp at Fairfield University in Connecticut
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) April 14, 2017 -- US Sports Camps (USSC) is excited to announce Anthony Bruno as the next camp director at it's Connecticut Swim Camp at Fairfield University, June 19-22 & June 26-29. Bruno joins the Stags with seven years of collegiate coaching experience including the past four seasons on the coaching staff at Iona College.
At the collegiate level, Bruno competed for Springfield College earning All-American honorable mention twice as part of the 200 medley and 400 freestyle relay, while earning a degree in Movement and Sports Studies in 2009.
“Coach Bruno comes highly recommended from some of the best in the swim coaching profession,” said National Swim Director, Paul Merrion. “He has a reputation among coaches for raising the level of his swimmers. We look forward to his leadership and future successes he can bring to our summer swim camps for competitive swimmers.”
The Nike Swim Camp at Fairfield University will focus on providing a well-rounded and balanced camp experience that teaches swimmers the necessary skills to enjoy a lifetime of success in swimming. Swimmers train each day in the eight-lane, 25-meter Alumni Pool. Located in the University’s Leslie C. Quick RecPlex, the Aquatics Center is the home of the Stags swimming and diving programs.
