Wilentz, a NJ-Based Law Firm, Hires New Shareholders and Associates
Woodbridge, NJ (PRWEB) May 14, 2014 -- Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer (“Wilentz”) is pleased to announce the hire of two new shareholders, Grace D. Mack and Michael A. Paff, as well as two new associates, Justin Hollander and Fotini Karamboulis to the NJ law firm.

Grace D. Mack is a member of the Business Law and Healthcare Teams. She represents and provides healthcare-related advice to physicians, professional practices, ambulatory surgery centers, laboratories and other health care providers and businesses. In the business law area, Ms. Mack focuses on general corporate law and corporate counseling. She has significant experience in stock and asset acquisitions and sales. In addition, she has experience in drafting, negotiation and providing legal consultation and document review to business entities of all sizes.
Michael A. Paff joins the firm’s Commercial Real Estate and Redevelopment Teams. His practice is concentrated in property tax appeal litigation, abatements, and condemnation issues. He has extensive experience in litigating tax appeal cases that involve overvaluation, added assessments, exemptions and “Chapter 91” cases. Mr. Paff has considerable experience representing owners of commercial properties in New Jersey and New York; including apartments, hotels, office buildings, medical offices, financial institutions, automobile properties, shopping malls and farms. He has litigated complex issues for industrial buildings including warehouses, refrigerated storage and factories. In addition, Mr. Paff has acquired more than a decade of experience assisting residential property owners in achieving residential property tax relief. He has helped owners to reduce their assessed value for savings on current or future tax bills, and in many cases to obtain refunds.
Justin Hollander is a member of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate and Redevelopment Teams. He practices as part of the Wilentz cross-disciplinary team which addresses the various legal issues that present as part of an overall redevelopment project, ranging from the Preparation of Redevelopment Plans, Tax Abatement Agreements, Redevelopment Agreements Financial Agreements, Approvals related to Land Use and General Development Plans, interfacing with Governmental Entities, providing Real Estate Agreements, and creating and/or Conveying Corporate Entities for Redevelopment Projects. In addition, Mr. Hollander focuses on the representation of Redevelopment and Land Use clients. He interacts with other team members and other teams in the firm on matters including transactions and leasing, mortgages and litigation to ensure seamless client service. Mr. Hollander assists clients with a wide range of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects of varying size.
Fotini Karamboulis joins the firm’s Commercial Litigation Team. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Karamboulis was a judicial clerk for the Honorable Joseph A. Dickson, U.S.M.J. for the District of New Jersey. While in law school, she worked for the Innocence Project Clinic to exonerate wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing. Ms. Karamboulis earned her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society. Ms. Karamboulis received her B.A. from Iona College, graduating summa cum laude.
