Having to choose between paying rent, keeping the heat on, or buying groceries is simply unacceptable...We truly believe in neighbors helping neighbors, so it’s a great fit for our new community enrichment program.
Norwalk, OH (PRWEB) January 12, 2016
With a new community involvement program serving the greater Norwalk, OH area, Dilger-Maxwell Agency has teamed up with the Norwalk Area Food Bank in support of its efforts to provide food for local people who might not otherwise have enough to eat this winter. To support this wonderful organization and the people they serve, donations may now be made at https://www.crowdrise.com/dilgermaxwellagencyf1/fundraiser/toniamaxwell.
The Norwalk Area Food Bank is a volunteer and donation-driven organization founded in 2010. Every year they ensure that countless children, senior citizens and sometimes whole families will go to bed with enough food in their stomachs. Almost 15% of greater Norwalk area residents live below the poverty line, and with the advent of cold winter months the stress of food insecurity always seems to increase. So many families are just one paycheck away from worrying about keeping food on the table, and sudden illness or job loss can easily tip them over the edge. The Food Bank relies on compassionate donations to help provide for all those in need of assistance.
“Having to choose between paying rent, keeping the heat on, or buying groceries is simply unacceptable,” said Tonia Maxwell, owner of Dilger-Maxwell Agency. “The Norwalk Area Food Bank gives help and hope to those in our community who are living with the daily challenges of not having enough to eat. We truly believe in neighbors helping neighbors, so it’s a great fit for our new community enrichment program.”
The agency will promote the current campaign over the course of the next 30-60 days, through social media channels, email communications and their monthly electronic and print magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Norwalk area. Our Hometown magazine reserves a full page to showcase the campaign for the Norwalk Area Food Bank, and features all the details of the cause. The electronic Flipbook version of the current issue may be accessed here: http://www.dilgermaxwellagency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_46.
Dilger-Maxwell demonstrates their commitment to the Norwalk Area Food Bank by promising to donate $10 to for each and every referral they receive for an insurance quote, with no purchase necessary. Dilger-Maxwell Agency is devoted to the betterment of their community, having just recently launched the master charity program of which the current campaign is part. “We are fully committed to assisting those in need in our community. Every couple of months we’ll be selecting a new worthy group, family or individual to receive our support,” pledged Maxwell.
