Notions Marketing Integrates with Rain Retail Software, Making Their 165,000+ Items Available in the Rain Point of Sale System

Rain Retail Software, a cloud-based omnichannel software provider, announces new integrations with Notions Marketing, the largest creative arts industry distributor with over 1,500 brands and 165,000+ products. Notions Marketing is a family-owned-and-operated business, founded in Grand Rapids, Michigan in 1938. The integration includes Notions Marketing product data for all of their 165,000+ products. This allows retailers to simply scan a Notions Marketing barcode to auto-populate product details such as titles, descriptions, images, manufacturer, UPC, and vendor number directly into their point of sale and E-Commerce website.

Notions Marketing is also integrating with Rain Retail further, utilizing Rain’s Order Assist, Automated Purchase Orders, and Automated Receiving Orders APIs.

Rain’s Order Assist automatically identifies retailers low stock items when placing new orders with Notions Marketing to help retailers optimize inventory levels. This helps retailers prevent running out of stock on popular items and increases sales.

Soon, when retailers using the Rain system place a new order with Notions Marketing, an automated Purchase Order will be pushed from Notions Marketing to retailers point of sale. At the same time the Purchase Order is generated, newly purchased items will automatically be added to the retailer's point of sale and website, (product title, description, and images, etc.) Likewise, when Notions Marketing ships the order an automated Receiving Order is created in the retailer’s POS.
