Arcadia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center Hosts Health Fair for the Community
Hamilton Square, NJ (PRWEB) October 08, 2015 -- “The September 27 event included local vendors such as Walgreens and beauty salons that offered discounts and product giveaways,” said Michael Gabriel, owner of Arcadia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. “Flu shots and gym membership discounts were also offered, as well as discussion about therapeutic massage benefits. We attracted people from all ages and walks of life.”
Arcadia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center event attendees received consultations from local caregivers on healthy living and elder law attorneys were on hand to give free advice on estate planning. Additionally, at-home care agencies educated those in attendance on the benefits of post-surgical care in the home and the Mercer County Alzheimer’s Association supplied information on support groups for families dealing with Alzheimer’s.
“The event developed through networking efforts, as the vendors and merchants felt the need to share their services that would benefit the local community,” said Gabriel.
“This event is one of many that Arcadia has hosted throughout the years, including Alzheimer’s support groups, carnivals, breakfast with Santa, Easter egg hunts and political township meetings.”
