Cloud|AG and AvePoint Team Up To Offer Office 365 Customers Protection For Data Loss and Data Leakage

Based on AvePoint’s Online Services platform, Office 365 customers can now do much more than just perform granular backups and restores of their Office 365 Exchange Online, SharePoint Online and OneDrive data. New features include:
Controlled Sharing: Organizations can now restrict access to and sharing of SharePoint Online sites and OneDrive for Business content. This new feature gives administrators the ability to better control access to content internally as well as sharing with external parties, keeping data out of the hands of those who should not have it.
Event-Driven Replication: Organizations can now publish content to a SharePoint Online site with external sharing enabled and trigger replications between the two repositories. With the new event-driven replication capabilities, organizations can automatically synchronize business-critical data to provide both internal and external Office 365 users with identical content through a single action.
Improved Mail Restoration: Through the use of the Exchange Online app, organizations can now perform out-of-place restores to access resources and mailbox archives. This allows IT administrators to upload Exchange Online mailbox backups into new mailboxes ensuring business-critical data is not lost at the time of an account deletion.
