2013 Ohio State Buckeyes Tickets for November Contests Still Available at Choice 1 Tickets
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) October 25, 2013 -- So far, so good for fans with Ohio State Buckeyes tickets, as their team now sports a 7-0 record with just over a month left in the regular season.
Head coach Urban Meyer and the Buckeyes survived three consecutive tough tests against Wisconsin, Northwestern and Iowa, putting them that much closer the national title game in Pasadena.
Despite this success, the Buckeyes have fallen behind both Florida State and Oregon in the first BCS rankings because of the perceived weakness of Ohio State’s conference. According to Choice 1 Tickets marketing manager Brent Larsen, the Buckeyes should simply worry about what is in their control.
“Voters’ perception of the Big Ten will certainly play a part in where Ohio State ends up at the end of the season,” Larsen said. “At the end of the day, the only thing the Buckeyes can do is keep on winning.”
November will present a serious challenge for the Buckeyes, as they will be forced to go on the road for most of the month. Trips to Purdue, Illinois and Michigan will certainly put a lot of stress on the team, especially as they push closer to a 12-0 mark.
“The closer they get to a perfect season, the more the demand for Buckeyes tickets is going to go up,” Larsen said. “Buckeyes fans want to see their team keep winning, while fans of their opponents want to see their team knock off a national title contender.”
QB Braxton Miller finally appears to be fully healthy after missing most of three games with a knee injury. He has fantastic against the Hawkeyes, completing 22-of-27 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for another 102 yards on the ground. His reemergence as one of the best players in the conference could be key for the Buckeyes as they try to avoid any upsets.
The return of Carlos Hyde to the starting lineup has also been critical to the Buckeyes’ success. After missing the first three games of the season for disciplinary reasons, Hyde has been a revelation for Ohio State, running for 443 yards and five touchdowns in four games.
The defense is still lagging behind the offense in terms of production, but it has still managed to do its job. Ryan Shazier continues to be one of the top linebackers in the Big Ten, racking up 56 tackles, including eight tackles for loss. Bradley Roby and Doran Grant form one of the finest cornerback tandems in the league, and each has a pair of interceptions.
Though the next part of the schedule does not appear especially daunting, the Buckeyes know very well that they cannot take any of their opponents for granted. With so much left on the line for Ohio State, any lapse in concentration and effort could prematurely end the dreams of fans with Buckeyes tickets and their beloved football team.
