Ohio Virtual Academy Celebrates National School Choice Week; Hundreds Expected to Rally at Events across Ohio
Maumee, OH (PRWEB) January 21, 2014 -- Ohio Virtual Academy (OHVA), an accredited, full-time online public school option for K-12th grade students in Ohio, announced today that the school will hold special events throughout the state to celebrate National School Choice Week 2014, an initiative designed to shine a positive spotlight on the need for effective education options for all children. From January 17-February 7, OHVA will host events designed to bring together students/families from all over Ohio where they will have a chance to share their unique experiences, meet other students, win prizes and take part in fun activities.
“What makes OHVA special is our incredible community, full of students who are passionate about their education and parents who are committed to seeing their children succeed,” said Kristin Stewart, Head of School for Ohio Virtual Academy. “One week isn’t nearly enough time to come together and celebrate school choice – so we’re extending the celebration! Our events take place across the state and last until February 7, so there will be plenty of chances to come support the freedom to have options when it comes to your children’s education.”
In an effort to include as many students and families as possible, OHVA will be holding ice skating and bowling parties at a number of different locations all over Ohio. (See below.)
