Online Private School Opens Enrollment for 2019-2020 School Year
COLUMBIA, Md. (PRWEB) November 13, 2018 -- International Connections Academy (iNaCA), a K-12 college preparatory virtual private school for students worldwide, is now enrolling new students for the 2019-20 academic year. New families who commit to enroll by April 1, 2019 are eligible for an Early Decision 10 percent tuition discount. In addition, early enrolling students are able to apply early for an iNaCA full-tuition scholarship for the 2019-20 school year.
"We’re excited to welcome more families into our diverse group of students who benefit from our school's high-quality US curriculum, state-of-the-art technology, certified teachers and opportunity to learn alongside other students from all over the country and around the world," said Hannah Rinehart, iNaCA's Director of School. “We encourage families to do their research now and take part in our early enrollment process to take advantage of our discounts and secure their place for the upcoming year.”
International Connections Academy students can learn from home, or anywhere there is an internet connection, and work with teachers who are specially trained in online instruction. Students in grades K–12 can enroll full-time or in part-time courses—depending on their academic and scheduling needs. Families considering more flexible forms of education have found that online private school can be an excellent option for students who benefit from personalized learning. Since students learn from home, parents can be more directly involved with their child's education.
“Traditional school was hard because I had to wait for the other kids to finish their work if I wanted to move ahead. Now I can work as far ahead as I want to, and I love it,” said Stella Sweazy, a third grader who switched from traditional school to the online private school with her sister. Stella is one of several students enrolled in iNaCA who received a full-tuition scholarship for the 2018-19 school year.
"We’re a family that loves to travel throughout the year and iNaCA allows the girls to take their work wherever they go and work at their own pace,” Devin Sweazy, Stella’s mother said. “It was just right for us, and I love that my girls are happy."
International Connections Academy's 2018 Parent Satisfaction Survey, a third-party survey of parents whose students are enrolled at the online private school, revealed the following:
- 99% of families are satisfied with the enrollment process
- 98% of parents are satisfied with the helpfulness of teachers
- 95% of parents agree that the curriculum is high quality
- 92% of parents agree that the technology tools improve their child's learning experience
- 91% of parents agree that their children are satisfied with the program
International Connections Academy’s graduating class of 2018 included 122 graduates from countries including the US, Denmark and Pakistan, collectively earning more than $5.9 million in scholarships. Experienced school counselors guide students living around the world through the college application process, leading to acceptances at exceptional US-based colleges and universities such as Brown University and Yale University, among many others.
