'Being the first U.S. IBM Partner to achieve this attainment is a tremendous honor and great accomplishment for our team, our company and our loyal customers we work in close partnership with every day,' said Todd LeBaron, CEO and chairman of OpenSymmetry.

OpenSymmetry, a global sales performance management (SPM) consulting firm, announced today it has achieved a U.S. first in attaining the IBM Bronze Software Practice Accreditation for Incentive Compensation Management (ICM). In achieving this recognition, OpenSymmetry’s highly qualified and experienced consulting team now collectively holds 10 IBM Sales and Technical certifications with more expected by the end of March.

The IBM Bronze Software Practice Accreditation is part of IBM’s Software Practice Accelerator program, which was launched in 2013. This accreditation program is designed to recognize IBM Partners’ investment in deepening and broadening its IBM software implementation skills, whereby partners must demonstrate the attainment of technical certifications and a number of validated customer implementations.

“Being the first U.S. IBM Partner to achieve this attainment is a tremendous honor and great accomplishment for our team, our company and our loyal customers we work in close partnership with every day,” said Todd LeBaron, CEO and chairman of OpenSymmetry. “Our 150+ consultants are the best at what they do and on average have eight or more years of practical hands-on experience implementing incentive compensation solutions.”

The intention of any solid and credible accreditation program is to have measurable and referenced real-world implementations, which IBM has applied to this program. Todd adds, “We assist our customers in their journey to ensure that compensation plans not only accelerate but also optimize the performance of their sales force. It’s what we are genuinely passionate about and our customers trust the experience and in-depth knowledge we provide in guiding them to achieving successful business outcomes.”
