Bogota, Colombia (PRWEB) August 06, 2013
Silnium, Inc., provider of the world's leading Oracle Fusion Middleware professional services, today announced the opening of a new office in Colombia as the most recent expansion of the company’s near-shore development center. The facility, which will collaborate seamlessly with Silnium’s U.S. and India-based locations, is near the World Trade Center in Bogota’s central business district at Av. 19 #97-31 Oficina 406, Bogota.
Silnium is also pleased to report the launch of its DBA Emergency Response (DBA-ER) database and middleware support services. The new DBA-ER service is provided by Silnium’s DBA experts, who work closely with clients to remedy any emergency database or middleware problems. Silnium understands that a severe problem with a company’s database environment or application servers can have a critical impact on business continuity, and Silnium DBA-ER experts are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The company’s latest expansion in Colombia will help deliver Silnium’s DBA-ER service, and also comes in response to the proven demand for Silnium's near-shore professional services. American companies are continuing to invest in Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies to increase their time to market, the responsiveness of their packaged applications integration, and their custom applications development efforts. Silnium's unique ability to provide a 360-degree service offering across the multiple components of the Fusion technology stack has also been valuable to customers implementing strategic initiatives.
Henry Moros, who brings to Silnium years of strong expertise in the enterprise software market, will lead the company's efforts to fill the United States’ thriving demand for Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies from the company’s new near-shore facility.
"The opening of Silnium's Colombia office is a natural outgrowth of the company’s strong customer and partner base," said Silnium CEO Elie Levy. "Under Henry's leadership, Silnium is well-positioned to increase our impact in the region by supporting our customers' strategic initiatives at a lower total cost and lower risk. Silnium Colombia is further evidence of our commitment to building a lasting presence in the near-shore market and to investing in long-term customer relationships."
"I am excited to lead the expansion of Silnium through a near-shore presence in Colombia," said Henry Moros, Silnium's General Manager in Colombia. "Our success in the financial services and consumer products sectors, which are dealing with major industry changes, demonstrates Silnium's value as a flexible organization that competently responds to complex business challenges. I fully expect Silnium to become a Strategic Technology professional services provider throughout the U.S. market in the years to come."
Moros joins Silnium with broad experience executing software projects, including JD Edwards and SalesForce.com implementations for companies in Colombia and other parts of Central and South America. He joined Nielsen in 2012, working on the implementation of business intelligence projects for Colombia, Central America, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic. Previously, Moros was responsible for the project management office at Skandia, and managed strategic planning and continuous process improvement at Michelin.
Silnium CEO Elie Levy, along with other Silnium executives, will be attending the Oracle OpenWorld 2013 conference in San Francisco September 22–26, 2013. The company will be hosting an information booth at the conference expo and plans to share additional details of Silnium’s expansion and near-shore service offerings.
