Orlando Dumpster Rental Company Sunshine Recycling Provides Services for Crime Scene Facility Renovation
Orlando, Florida (PRWEB) July 15, 2015 -- The City of Orlando Police Department Crime Scene Facility recently began a large-scale remodel and renovation project, with waste management supplied by Orlando dumpster rental company Sunshine Recycling. A LEED compliant project, Sunshine will recycle all qualified materials generated and discarded throughout the project’s duration.
The contractor for the project is H.J. High Construction, a local leader in the Florida construction industry, with over 76 years of experience building corporate, educational, industrial, sustainable and religious buildings. Located at the Orlando Executive Airport, the current 80,000 square foot facility is being completely renovated and repurposed. The new state-of-the-art crime scene facility will house the department’s crime scene, training, and property and evidence programs. The $10 million project broke ground in spring of 2015 and is on track to be completed in summer of 2016.
As a LEED compliant project, the facility’s design and construction are certified to promote renewable, clean energy, as well as to save money and resources. Sunshine Recycling is certified by the U.S. Green Building Council to work on sustainable projects, including collecting, hauling and recycling debris. For the Crime Scene Facility project, Sunshine will provide a four-yard dumpster for office trash, as well as 20 and 30-yard roll-off dumpsters for construction and renovation debris.
“Typically we are able to recycle 98% of all construction debris during our LEED projects,” states Chuck Herb, owner of Sunshine Recycling. “We are excited to be working on a project like the City of Orlando Crime Scene Facility that will serve the community and also contribute to the green initiatives Orlando is known for.”
