Orlando Fitness Center to Launch “Burpees for Bucks” Fundraiser on April 5th and Donate 100% of the Proceeds to the Academy for Autism
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- The local Orlando fitness center known as Fit Body Boot Camp announces plans to host a “Burpees for Bucks” fitness fundraiser on April 5th, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in an effort to raise funds for the south Orlando school, Academy for Autism.
Being huge community advocates as well as local fitness experts, Orlando Fit Body Boot Camp owners Kerry Girona and Andrea Laing felt that hosting a fitness fundraiser would be the perfect way to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Academy for Autism.
“Everyone will get an awesome fat burning workout while helping out a great cause,” says Kerry. “We love helping out our community in any way we can. One of our boot campers brought this cause to our attention because it was something important to her so we wanted to do what we could to also show our support!”
With a goal to raise at least $2,500, Orlando Fit Body Boot Camp is asking for a $25 donation from each participant who will then take place one of the boot camp’s signature workouts. “Burpees for Bucks” will be held at the Orlando Fit Body Boot Camp studio. Applebees will provide free refreshments for all participants.
Owners Kerry and Andrea explain, “It's very important to us that we give back to the community and show our support. We are very passionate about helping people get healthy and we are so fortunate to have the opportunity to bring the community together to get healthy while also helping out those in need, and this is one of the best ways we are able to show our support and give back!”
