Charlotte, NC (PRWEB) March 28, 2014
Our America, a Super PAC based in North Carolina, has announced that it has purchased a number of billboards that will highlight Senator Kay Hagan’s continued refusals to back up her promises with regard to Obamacare. PolitiFact named Kay Hagan’s “if you like your plan you can keep it” false promise as its “Lie of the Year” for 2013.* You may recall Sen. Hagan's repeated line ‘People who have insurance they're happy with can keep it.’ **
“On more than 20 occasions, Senator Hagan has stated that she will protect the rights of citizens to keep their health plan and to see the doctors of their choice”, said Allison Milbridge, spokesperson for Our America. “However, her actions have failed to live up to her words. On numerous occasions, she has had the opportunity to vote to remove onerous aspects from Obamacare and has yet to do so” said Milbridge.
These billboards, as well as other planned media, will illustrate Hagan’s unwillingness to part ways with the liberal leadership of the Senate that appears that continues to support Obamacare to the bitter end, despite its adverse consequences to the American people. “The people of North Carolina have a right to know that Kay Hagan has lied repeatedly to them and that her failure to act will have dire consequences”, said Milbridge.
Our America is working in several different states with a goal of returning Republican majority to the Senate. The group is preparing to release this commercial (http://www.ouramericaaction.com) in Minnesota targeting Senator Al Franken, the actual deciding vote in the passage of Obamacare.
Our America also announced that radio personality” TJ” , of the syndicated radio show, The Ace and TJ Show has agreed to collaborate with the Super PAC and has been recording spots for the organization.
