Park Agencies Insurance & Financial Services Fundraises for Lakemary Center on Behalf of Local Children and Adults with Disabilities
Overland Park, KS (PRWEB) April 08, 2016 -- Park Agencies Insurance & Financial Services has announced a new partnership with Lakemary Center as part of an ongoing community enrichment program serving the families of greater Kansas City. The nonprofit organization provides educational opportunities for local children and adults with special needs which help them to live life more fully. Readers wishing to support this worthy cause may now donate at: https://www.crowdrise.com/providing-the-local-youth-with-disabilities-the-education-they-deserve.
Lakemary Center was begun in 1969 out of a desire to create a safe, nurturing environment for children with developmental disabilities. Adult services were added later, enabling them to expand on their mission to provide choices and opportunities for all those with special needs. Today, Lakemary enjoys a national reputation for quality services which touch the lives of over 600 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities each year, through residential programs and community outreach. Their students have access to a variety of therapies including speech, occupational, music, art, behavior and adaptive physical education. From early intervention for at-risk infants to retirement support for older adults, Lakemary provides a lifetime of opportunities full of hope and dignity.
“Taking loving care of the most vulnerable members of our community is a truly worthy mission, and we are honored to do what we can to help Lakemary Center and all those they serve,” said Jason Park, owner of Park Agencies Insurance & Financial Services. “We hope the community rallies to support this often forgotten segment of our population.”
Putting their money where their mouth is, Park Agencies has promised to donate $10 to Lakemary Center for each and every person recommended to the agency. Anyone willing to help spread the word about this worthy campaign may recommend someone they know for a new insurance evaluation for their auto, home, life, and more, with no purchase necessary. Readers wishing to view the campaign, recommend a friend and/or make a personal donation may do so here .
Meanwhile, the caring team at Park Agencies is busy mobilizing social media, email and text message communications to promote the initiative for Lakemary Center, and has also dedicated a full page of their monthly magazine to spotlight the cause. The current issue of Our Hometown magazine, which is delivered to thousands of households in the greater Kansas City metro area, may be viewed here: http://www.theparkagencies.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_39.
Fulfilling their commitment to operate as Agents of Change in their community, Park Agencies will continue to work for deserving local causes by selecting a new beneficiary to receive support every two months.
