Pacific Prime Insurance Brokers Ltd is pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with HealthQuo Ltd to offer its clients a new online health consulting service.
HealthQuo is a platform where patients will be able to access doctors online from their computers, tablets, and smartphones. "Accessing doctors from our homes, offices or anywhere else will save time and money. Technology and health merge to provide a new world of possibilities, improving services without affecting their quality," said Rodrigo Cuesta, founder of HealthQuo.
Pacific Prime's insurance partners BUPA, InterGlobal, and IntegraGlobal have agreed to cover this telehealth service, and they will be providing online face-to-face consultations to give clients a more convenient experience.
"We believe that this type of service will be the standard in the coming years, and we want our clients to benefit from it right from the beginning," said Nathan Robertson, Pacific Prime's Business Development Director. "We are currently working with all our insurance partners to have this service covered for patients."
HealthQuo can solve more than 70% of day-to-day consults. Tomás Allende, Co-founder of HealthQuo, explained, "We are not an Emergency service, but studies show that the majority of the consults can be solved in the first visit to our online doctors, saving time and money to everyone involved in the health industry."
Many of Pacific Prime clients are expatriates who work in countries where access to doctors or hospitals is not always easy. "Just imagine traveling for work or pleasure and being able to access a doctor that speaks your language from your home or even from your hotel room," said Robertson. "This is what we want to offer our clients."
The online health consulting service is set to launch in March 2014, and more details about the service will be released in the coming weeks.
