Golf Cart Parade Brings in Luxury Home Shoppers
Palm Desert, CA (PRWEB) October 24, 2015 -- Brad Schmett, Broker Associate with Luxury Homes by Keller Williams today announced that the upcoming 51st Golf Cart Parade will be a huge boost for local real estate as golfing enthusiasts head to the Valley to participate in the traditional and beloved event, and shop for luxury homes. Palm Desert is commonly known as the “Golf Capital of the World” and the Valley boasts more than 120 golf courses.
This year’s parade will feature the usual electric powered carts decorated to resemble an Area 51 theme. Starting out with a pancake breakfast, the special cart show, and the senior seating area, the Bank of America parking lot at San Luis Rey and El Paseo will be the hub of the day’s activities. The Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Palm desert collaborate each year to handle parade details, and a committee of more than 20 volunteers are standing by to make it happen.
Schmett observed that, “This is truly a community event and always tons of fun. The Palm Desert Rotary Pancake Breakfast gets everyone up and running and by 10 AM the Golf Cart Show is ready to begin. There is always a Color Guard and the Palm Springs Pipe Band, plus at least a couple of Marine divisions and plenty of local businesses and dignitaries to add to the festivities. Needless to say, many of my clients have purchased homes here in the Coachella Valley specifically because they love to play golf”
