Charities may see a spike in donations during the holidays, but typically struggle the rest of the year and that is why local real estate professional, Pamela Meyer (http://www.finddenverhomes.net) is holding a food drive for all of 2015, not just over the holidays. The goal is to raise $5000 (20,000 meals) for Food Bank of the Rockies, which could mean feeding twenty people, three meals a day for an entire year.

“I chose to create a virtual food drive, as I understand that the food bank can get even more bang for their buck by purchasing food, using funds that are donated. Every dollar donated provides four meals to those in need - you just can’t beat that,” said Pamela Meyer. “I am asking for the help of our community to support the goal to collect $5000, which will equal approximately 20,000 meals for our fellow Coloradoans.”
