Author Pam Hagen Lacy urges readers to involve God in their daily trials, struggles and victories with her new devotional, “Noteworthy” (published by CrossBooks).
“God wants to be involved in every detail of our lives as a father, friend, counselor, and teacher,” Lacy says. “My book points the way toward connecting with God in our everyday lives.”
Through prayers, personal stories and questions, Lacy presents an honest and raw exploration of how God has kept her moving forward, despite facing daunting personal struggles. Thirty-one easy-to-understand devotions encourage readers to get to know God and his truths, so that they, too, can benefit from an honest and authentic relationship with Him in a world of hardship and unbelief.
Lacy submits that too many Christians speak only out of what they have heard, not what they have put into practice; she refuses to live her Christian life that way, and urges others to follow God in spirit and in practice.
“Christians need to walk the walk they talk about,” Lacy says. “We need to be authentic with ourselves, God and those around us.”
