Le French Book Signs on New Translator for the Paris Homicide Series
New York, New York (PRWEB) December 13, 2013 -- Le French Book first launched the Paris Homicide series with the digital-first translation of The 7th Woman by Frédérique Molay. The trade paperback is scheduled for release in 2014, and the mystery and thriller publisher has kicked off translations of the next two books in the series.

In The 7th Woman, readers follow elite Paris crime fighters tracking a skilled and nasty serial killer preying on women in the French capital. The second in the series picks up the hero Nico Sirsky and his team three months later with a new mystery that leads them to uncover an intricate machination involving body donation, all on the backdrop of a snow-covered Paris. In the third, a dead body appears at very Parisian modern art event. Sirsky finds himself chasing the “butcher of Paris” while his own mother faces an uncertain future.

New translator on board
Anne Trager will be translating the second title in the series, and is pleased to welcome a new translator on board for the third title. Jeffrey Zuckerman was born in the Midwest and lives in New York. He holds a degree in English with honors from Yale University, where he studied English literature, creative writing, and translation. He has translated several Francophone authors, from Jean-Philippe Toussaint and Antoine Volodine to Régis Jauffret and Marie Darrieussecq, and his writing and translations have appeared in the Yale Daily News Magazine, Best European Fiction, and The White Review.
