10 More Days To Enter Good Deed Contest
Parlin, New Jersey (PRWEB) May 04, 2015 -- Parlin dentist, Dr Mariana Blagoev is extending her "Good Deed" contest to give a chance to more youths to participate and win a laptop.
Dr. Blagoev created the contest to encourage youths in her area to do good deeds and share them on her Facebook page. By rewarding such behavior, Dr.Blagoev intends to empower their minds and teach them to be kind and compassionate when they mature into adulthood. The contest is accessible to any youth 18 years of age and under. Youths are urged to submit their good deed entries in essay or video format on her Facebook page or website. The winner will receive a new laptop.
All entries need to be submitted by May 15th with the winner announced shortly thereafter. The contestants will describe the good deed and explain what was the inspiration for doing it. The deeds can be either small or large, from helping a peer with homework to volunteering at a homeless shelter. The contestants are encouraged to be imaginative, not only in their choice of good deeds but also in their videos or essays.
Blagoev's philosophy is simple and based on the basic psychological approach of classical conditioning. When the kids do a good deed, it transforms them and becomes gratifying. The youths good behavior is rewarded thus increasing the acts of compassion as they mature through life.
