Participants in OP Live Dallas Collegiate Overwatch Tournament Powered by Dallas Fuel and Team Envy Announced
The Collegiate Overwatch Tournament, consisting of 16 teams, will progress through opening rounds, quarterfinals and semifinals, before culminating in the tournament finals and awards ceremony later in the day.
DALLAS, Sept. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- OP Live Dallas, a premier esports event running Sept. 22-23, 2018 in Irving, Texas, has finalized the roster of teams that will be competing in the collegiate Overwatch tournament Powered by the Dallas Fuel and Team Envy on Saturday, Sept. 22. The tournament will progress through opening rounds, quarterfinals and semifinals, before culminating in the tournament finals and awards ceremony later in the day.
Sixteen college esports teams will face off in the largest collegiate Overwatch tournament North Texas has ever seen at OP Live Dallas. Invited colleges will get a chance to prove themselves in front of pro players Hyeong "EFFECT" Hwang and Min-seok "OGE" Son of the Dallas Fuel and the Dallas Fuel coaching staff led by Head Coach Aaron "Aero" Atkins, General Manager Mat "Tazmo" Taylor and Assistant Coach Justin "Jayne" Conroy. Teams from the following colleges are slated to compete in the tournament:
